Our Story
In 1988 we came to Mexico with a simple calling: preach the gospel and serve the forgotten.
Today Heart4Mexico is planting churches, rescuing children through Nana’s House orphanage, training leaders, and reaching communities across Mexico.
Every life changed is a miracle of God’s grace.

From Youth to Leaders
Alvin came to La Fuente when he was 15, and Naomi was already there at just 14. Not long after Naomi arrived, her mother passed away. That same year, Alvin lost his father.
They grew up in the church, serving, learning, and discovering the gifts God had placed in them. In 2016, Alvin took over the leadership of La Fuente Youth, and in 2019, he and Naomi were married.
It has been amazing to watch them flourish. Alvin is a gifted communicator who now speaks throughout Latin America, while Naomi is a talented writer and worship leader. Together, they continue to grow in the qualities we value in church planting.
This is something we love about La Fuente. We want to see people raised up from within the church, given a place to grow, serve, and lead. Alvin and Naomi are a beautiful example of that.
This August, they hosted our annual youth conference, where hundreds of young people gathered and 46 students were baptized.
We couldn’t be more proud of them and excited to see what God will do through their lives in the years ahead.
